THE new math

I don't know if you caught Karl Rove's interview on NPR this week, but this has gotta take the cake for bullshit spin artistry. In the interview, Karl Rove tries to tell Robert Siegel that the liberal media's polling data for the upcoming election is all wrong; that he is using THE math and it shows a far different outcome.

Well, I don't know what math Karl is using, but I sure hope our kids aren't using his school's curriculum. Every vote tallying site out there shows the Dems with a clear lead in the House and a virtual tie in the Senate, including the right leaning Ceasar's Blog:

electionprojection.com: Ceasar (Right leaning blogger)

House - Dems 222, Repubs 213
Senate - Dems 48, Ind 2, Repubs 50

electoral-vote.com (Left leaning site)

House - Dems 226, Repubs 207
Senate - Dems 49, Repubs 51

Both sites use non-partisan polling data; Rassmussen, Crtical Insights, Universities, etc. So contrary to Karl's spin, the liberal media and the rest of the country does have accurate data, and in fact is using correct math. What a shithead.
